Limoges Airport was forced to close yesterday due to heavy snowfall.The first flights of the day were able to land before the conditions deteriorated, and as a consequence all other flights were cancelled and the airport was closed.
The snow has caused mayhem throughout the Limousin region, canceling flights, trains and with unsuitable driving conditions, which is having a large affect on students, who broke up for the Christmas holidays yesterday, and are now stranded in Limoges and unable to return home for the start of the Christmas celebrations.
Poitiers and Tours airports have also been closed indefinitely with an even heavier snowfall expected on Sunday.
Surprising to see such bad weather at Limoges and Poitiers.

Must be all of that Global warming.
